Below are qualifications needed for employment at Florida Palms Academy:

Clinical Therapist:

  • Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family or Mental Health Counseling. Must be Licensed or a Registered Intern in good standing with the Florida Department of Health.

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children and families.

  • Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Must be Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Department of Health with a minimum of 2 year experience with in pediatrics or psychiatry.

Mental Health Technician:

  • Muse have a minimum of a high school diploma and 1 year experience working with high-risk children and adolescence

Teacher:

  • Must hold Teaching Certification from the Florida Department of Education.

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with ESE students.
